A few questions to bring to your consultation

You don’t need all the answers. A few questions can be a good place to begin.

Begin with what matters to you.

A consultation gives you time to describe what you’ve noticed and what you would like to understand. There is no perfect list of questions, but these prompts may help you organise your thoughts.

  • What can we discuss at this appointment?
  • What information would help you understand my routine?
  • What are the options, and what are their limitations?
  • What would preparation and aftercare involve?
  • What timing and costs should I understand before deciding?

Bring your everyday routine into the conversation.

A list or photos of the products you currently use can make a discussion easier. Share what you enjoy, what feels confusing and any previous advice you want to talk through.

Leave room to think.

You can ask for an explanation in different words or take time before choosing a next step. A useful conversation should leave you clearer about what has been discussed and where to ask a follow-up question.
